With a victory Saturday night at Pennsylvania’s Williams Grove Speedway, Brad Sweet returned to the top of the National Sprint Car Rankings. Sweet’s 12th victory of the season helped push his average finish to 3.473 in 70 starts, pushing him slightly ahead of previous leader David Gravel. One hundred and 55 drivers have made the 20 starts required to be eligible for the rankings and 900 racers have run a winged 410 sprint car race this season. Freddie Rahmer holds the top spot in the Eastern region, while Joe B. Miller leads the Mid-America region. Cap Henry heads the Great Lakes region, with Mark Dobmeier on top of the Great Plains region. Corey Day paces the Western, with Trey Starks on top in the Northwest region.
