MERCED, Calif. – A non-points special event for the USAC NOS Energy Drink National Midgets has been added to the schedule to close out the season at California’s Merced Speedway on Wednesday night, Nov. 25. Under the USAC banner, USAC Western States Midgets have competed at Merced twice, both in 2019, with Austin Liggett and Robert Dalby each winning features. The festivities will begin at Merced on Tuesday, Nov. 24, with midget practice and micro sprint racing. On Wednesday, a full midget event at Merced will be joined by winged 360 sprint cars. While the pit area will be open, the grandstands will be closed for both nights at Merced on Nov. 24-25.
