MERCED, Calif. — For the fourth consecutive season Merced Speedway will open Thanksgiving week with the NOS Energy Drink USAC National Midget Series headlining a two-night Midget Madness program next Tuesday and Wednesday night. As the stars and cars of the national series make their annual November trip to California, next week is their final week of the season, and Merced Speedway will again host the series for two nights of action, culminating with a midget/winged 360 doubleheader on Wednesday night. Wednesday night’s Thanksgiving Eve show again features the NOS Energy USAC National Midget Series, and they will be joined on the quarter-mile bullring by the Winged 360ci Sprint Cars in what is the third and final appearance of the season at the track.
