The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is back in Saudi Arabia for another double-header in the dark with races on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 January 2024. A slight change to the usual proceedings sees Free Practice 1 kick off the track action on Thursday, with 30 minutes in the evening sun at 18:00 local (15:00 UTC), the teams then have overnight to make any adjustments before the second 30-minute Free Practice session gets Friday’s race day going at 13:00 local (10:00 UTC). Then it’s the race against the clock as Qualifying and the nail-biting Duels runs from 15:20 local (12:20 UTC) ahead of the 2024 Diriyah E-Prix, Round 2 with the 37 laps starting at 20:00 local (17:00 UTC). The 2024 Diriyah E-Prix, Round 3 starts with Free Practice 3, with only one 30-minute session to fine-tune the GEN3 machines ahead of Qualifying again at 15:20 local (12:20 UTC) and then lights out on the 36-lap race at 20:00 local (17:00 UTC).
