Juncos Hollinger Racing co-owner Ricardo Juncos and NTT INDYCAR SERIES driver Agustín Canapino have been recognized as “Distinguished Personalities in the Field of Sports” in the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, the capital of their homeland. This recognition is testament to the persistent effort that Juncos and Canapino have demonstrated throughout their careers in motorsport. Juncos Hollinger Racing competes in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES and INDY NXT by Firestone, INDYCAR’s development series. “It’s an honor and a dream to be present in the legislature of my country’s capital receiving this distinction,” Juncos said. Canapino, also known as “El Titán,” is one of Argentina’s most outstanding and respected drivers. Canapino joined the NTT INDYCAR SERIES this season with almost no open-wheel racing experience but finished second among rookie drivers in the championship. “In this city, I won my first TC (touring car) championship,” Canapino said.
