An external lawyer — an English KC — has been appointed to investigate the complaint made by the staff member, who has accused Horner of controlling behaviour. The woman made her claims not to the Red Bull team itself but to the parent company in Austria, and they issued a statement confirming the investigation. ‘After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation,’ a Red Bull statement read.
