The 1990s was the decade of the rebirth of the supercar. After oil crisis and excess had blunted its progress through the 1970s and 1980s, it was in the 1990s that the supercar in its purest form really began to flourish. While the Jaguar XJ220, McLaren F1 and Lamborghini Diablo led the way, there were so many supercars floating around during the decade that it's very easy to forget some of the less well known ones. Here we've picked five of our favourite oddities from the '90s, a list that includes cars based on Le Mans cars, a supercar from a just-revived brand, and even one with a pop DJ's name on it.
