Drama at the British GP! Hamilton LIMPS across the line with a puncture and sparks flying to win at Silverstone after team-mate Bottas’ suffers the same problem to sacrifice podium spot

Lewis Hamilton drove himself to yet another landmark by winning the British Grand Prix for a record seventh time – on three wheels. Hamilton, 35, was in a two-horse race with his Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas until the dramatic last two laps. Lewis Hamilton won his seventh British Grand Prix with dominant victory at Silverstone. The Mercedes driver’s car had a serious puncture in the final lap to add more drama to the race. Hamilton crossed the line, just ahead – a heart-stopping end after an otherwise turgid race. Hamilton checks his incredibly serious puncture after winning the race in dramatic fashion. McLaren driver Carlos Sainz also suffered a last lap puncture as the race descended into chaos. Haas driver Kevin Magnussen crashed out of the British GP after a collision with Alex Albon.
