Kevin Magnussen joins ‘Original Six’ and becomes seventh F1 driver NOT to kneel in pre-British Grand Prix ‘Black Lives Matter’ protest after Sebastian Vettel hit out at race chiefs for embarrassing lack of organisation during Hungarian GP demonstration

Formula One’s pre-race ceremony against racism has continued to create division within the grid as the list of drivers who stood rather than ‘take a knee’ increased to seven ahead of the British Grand Prix. Magnussen who previously took a knee in the previous races of the season explained how he was uncomfortable with the gesture’s link to the Black Lives Matter organisation.
