WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. – After a six-year hiatus, Florida’s Andy Cobb will return to dirt sprint car competition on Sept. 12 at Hendry County Motorsports Park. However, Cobb recently decided it was time to strap back into a dirt sprint car. The July 4 Top Gun Sprint Series race at Hendry County Motorsports Park was sponsored by Cobb Glass Company, but the race was rescheduled due to rain. That delay was the perfect opportunity for Cobb to prepare for a return to the dirt sprint car ranks. Cobb plans to race full time in 2021, along with continuing drag racing competition.
