N.Y.’s Fonda Speedway hosts the STSS twice — July 3 for the $10,000-to-win Firecracker 50 and again on Sept. 12-14 for the $53,000-to-win, $1,000-to-start Fonda 200 crown jewel. Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon, N.Y., hosts two points-paying STSS events — the Richie Evans Remembered 61 on July 18 and New Yorker 50 on Sept. 1. The ‘Dirty Jersey’ at N.J.’s New Egypt Speedway moves to June 18 with $6,000 going to the winner. North Region stops are set for Accord (May 14), N.Y.’s Brookfield Speedway (May 26), Fonda (July 3 and Sept. 12-14) and Utica-Rome (July 18 and Sept. 27-28).
