What’s Next For Simon Pagenaud?

With Tuesday’s news of Felix Rosenqvist joining Meyer Shank Racing next season alongside IMSA standout Tom Blomqvist, it meant the end of Simon Pagenaud’s term with the organization. Pagenaud, who competed for the team over the last two seasons aboard the No. With the 2019 Indianapolis 500 winner not medically cleared to compete due to what Pagenaud described as “lingering concussion-like symptoms,” his season promptly ended on August 28 after missing four consecutive races. In a social media post on Tuesday, Pagenaud bid farewell to the MSR team. In his two seasons at MSR, the 2016 NTT IndyCar Series champion had a best finish of second in last year’s Indianapolis Grand Prix and tallied seven top-10 finishes. Previously, Pagenaud raced for Team Penske for seven seasons, racking up 11 victories and 27 podium finishes.
