A MOTOCROSS rider feels “lucky to be alive” after suffering a horror crash in training that saw her helmet fill with blood. Taylah McCutcheon was knocked unconscious after losing control of her bike and breaking several bones in her face. The impact knocked her out but after regaining consciousness McCutcheon managed to crawl to the top of the dirt mound to call for help, as nobody had witnessed the crash. She is set to undergo more surgery to treat her facial injuries with McCutcheon “thankful to still be alive” after revealing her helmet saved her life.
