As the Red Bull KTM rider had sustained other wrist injuries prior to the incident, it was advised for Musquin to let his wrist heal naturally. Due to the injury, he was only able to finish one race during the Supercross season — the opening round in Anaheim, Calif., where he came in 12th. As he was in a Supercross-only contract with Red Bull KTM, it was natural for Musquin to sit out the rest of the year. What I know for sure is that I won’t be racing the 2024 US Supercross series. I have been taking some good time off to heal my last injury,” Musquin wrote.
