VALTTERI BOTTAS has revealed his stunning plans to swap sports when his F1 career is over. And he has revealed on the Bobby and Jens podcast that he plans to take gravel cycling “seriously” when he retires. He has also revealed his plan to qualify for the 2024 UCI Gravel World Championships. Whenever I get the chance, I try to fit in some good [cycling] training blocks and I plan on racing some more gravel events this year – this time of year is for the bicycle.”. Bottas’ girlfriend Tiffany Cromwell is an Australian Olympian and professional gravel racer and the two have encouraged eachother in their cycling.
