LEWIS HAMILTON has won the Spanish Grand Prix after a brilliant tussle with Max Verstappen in Barcelona. Lewis Hamilton reckons he learned more about Max Verstappen in today’s Spanish GP than during any other race this season. Lewis Hamilton wants to start negotiations with Mercedes about a new contract. Max Verstappen got off to a lightning start at the Spanish GP today. Max Verstappen tweeted his thoughts after his Red Bull team came up short behind Lewis Hamilton again. Max Verstappen was disappointed with his second place finish at the Spanish GP. Lewis Hamilton’s late charge has given him his third victory of the season. Max Verstappen was second and Valtteri Bottas finished in third. A perfectly executed strategy to win this race as Verstappen had lead from the first corner of the first lap right up until lap 60. But with seven laps to go, Hamilton passed the Red Bull man for glory. After Red Bull’s slow stop of 4 seconds, Mercedes could have called in Hamilton for tyres on the following lap. He has stayed out on track and is now blasting out the laps on his remaining tyres.
