(10/4/2023) Embarking on a three-venue journey spanning seven events throughout Illinois, the newly sanctioned POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association would witness the competitive rise of Shane Morgan capturing the inaugural season points championship throughout an intense and hard-fought yearly battle. Reuben Haslett of Lexington Illinois would end the year slightly ahead of rookie-of-the-year winner Michael Hermacinski as defending champion and winner of four events Mark McMahill rounded out the seasonal top five in the standings.
