FREMONT, Ohio — Rich Farmer, former Fremont Speedway promoter and two-time Regional Promoter of the Year, and wife, Shelly Farmer, are back at the helm of The Track That Action Built, commencing a new five-year lease that will activate officially with the speedway’s annual Swap Meet on Saturday, October 28. Farmer, who promoted Fremont Speedway for a 10-year stint beginning in 2008, is ready to begin a new chapter at the northwest Ohio staple, hoping to continue a longstanding tradition that not only includes a competitive weekly schedule, but a stout list of specials and annual events. “Shelly and I are excited to begin another chapter as promoters of Fremont Speedway.
