France’s Cyril Raymond, the double RX2 International Series Champion and FIA European Rallycross Championship for Supercar event winner, will debut the brand new Citroen C3 ERX in the Projekt E category at the Neste World RX of Riga-Latvia next week. Raymond was a full-time entrant in the FIA World Rallycross Championship last year and will return to the driving seat in the first all-electric rallycross championship, that was officially launched for the first time at the World RX event in Riga last year. The C3 ERX has been described as the world’s first R5-based electric race car, developed by Projekt E technical partner STARD in Austria, with support from Citroen Racing. The first ever Projekt E event at the World RX of Sweden was won by America’s Ken Block, driving a Ford Fiesta ERX.
