Racing in Shanghai for the first time is a “special honour” for Formula E

Shanghai will host the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship for the first time in May 2024, ten years after the first-ever Formula E race was held in Beijing. The first-ever race in Formula E history was held on the streets of Beijing in September 2014. “While racing in Shanghai is highly symbolic for Formula E, it will also be an incredible race weekend for fans. Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship begins in Mexico City on Saturday, 13 January 2024.
