RACE OVER Bernie Ecclestone hits back at Lewis Hamilton and says he once ‘saved black man from racist driver’

BERNIE ECCLESTONE revealed he was “semi-arrested” after pulling his chauffeur from the car following a horrific act of racism. The 89-year-old said he was being driven by a white chauffeur, who jumped out of his car to assault a black citizen. Ecclestone, 89, recalled: “As for my feelings for our black society, I pulled F1 out of South Africa after a white South African killed a black journalist because of his comments. “At a race weekend, I was given a car and a driver to use. “I was in the car with Jochen Rindt, the F1 driver, on the way to the race track. Hamilton recently called Ecclestone “ignorant and uneducated” for suggesting “black people are more racist than white people”. “Don’t think about what your skin colour is; think about what colour your mind is.
