CARSON, Calif. — Porsche Motorsport North America has unveiled the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup North America race calendar following the conclusion of this season in Austin, Texas. With the addition of the Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada, the Porsche Carrera Cup North America will now be the support series for Formula 1 on the continent for three events. Porsche Carrera Cup North America will join IMSA for five of road racing’s most exciting sports car events. Carrera Cup will again enjoy a Canadian event when it travels north of the boarder competing as part of the Formula 1 Grand Prix Du Canada weekend, June 7 – 9 for rounds five and six. Watkins Glen is one of four legacy tracks – circuits which have hosted a Porsche Carrera Cup North America event weekend every season since the first – on next season’s calendar. Carrera Cup North America will again join the Battle On the Bricks IMSA weekend at Indy, September 20 – 22. For the second year, the series will end its season at the Circuit of The Americas.
