Two days of private testing came to a close on Thursday at Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto, with Ai Ogura (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia) topping the Moto2™ timesheets thanks to a 1:41.351. The Japanese rider set that lap on the first day of testing to ensure he will head into the Official Portimao Test in good form. Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and Fermin Aldeguer (Speed Up Racing) reaffirmed their statuses as two of the intermediate class’ hottest prospects. Next up for the intermediate and lightweight classes is three days of testing at Algarve International Circuit, which gets underway on Saturday. Both classes will see three days of official track action at the Algarve International Circuit from Saturday, February 19th.
