Ogier undaunted by Hyundai’s Estonia double

Sébastien Ogier believes next week’s Rally Turkey (18 – 20 September) will give a clearer picture of where the balance of power lies on gravel stages in the FIA World Rally Championship. Ogier said: “They made a positive step and that along with the running order, I think it might have exaggerated [the gap], but there’s definitely some areas where they are much faster than before, it looks like at least.”. Looking ahead to next week’s Marmaris-based event, Ogier added: “I’m very excited to be in Turkey because I’m impassioned to see what step we’ve done in their playground. Definitely we’ve done some good steps recently and very positive progress.”. Ogier arrives in Turkey on the back of a victory there with Citroën last season.
