New Formula One president Mohammed Ben Sulayem has revealed Mercedes and Red Bull had ‘harmony between them’ during the crucial FIA talks over last season’s Abu Dhabi controversy. And new F1 supremo Ben Sulayem, tasked with dealing with Mercedes’ furore and calls to sack director Masi, admits both teams were in ‘a good mood’ but reveals the ‘integrity of the FIA will always be intact.’. ‘They were in line – I think it’s because of Valentine’s Day,’ said Ben Sulayem when asked about how Mercedes and Red Bull were feeling at Monday’s meeting. ‘They were close to each other and they were in a good mood, so that was good.
