Miller Masters MOWA Sprint Finale

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. — Joe B. Miller took advantage of a late-race caution to overtake leader Paul Nienhiser during Friday’s MOWA Sprint Car Series season finale. Nienhiser continued to hold the top spot over Colton Fisher and Will Armitage who inherited the third position after caution. Miller had worked back into the top five at this point and set his sights on the front of the field. Nienhiser pounced on the restart with Miller making a move past Armitage for the runner-up spot at lap 17. A nine-lap dash to the checkers saw Nienhiser at the front of the field, trying to protect the top spot. Following Miller across the line was Jake Neuman who moved past Nienhiser at lap 20. Trevin Littleton, who started 19th, Nienhiser and Keith completed the top five.
