Lewis Hamilton reveals how he felt like an outcast after joining F1 as drivers didn’t like his tattoos and piercings

LEWIS HAMILTON revealed he felt like a Formula One outcast because drivers didn’t like his flamboyant style. But as well as being arguably the greatest driver to get into an F1 car, the Brit loves his fashion, tattoos and jewellery. He told Vanity Fair: “I didn’t feel like I was welcome. “God knows how many of these drivers say, ‘This is not what a Formula 1 driver is. A Formula 1 driver doesn’t have a personality – and piercings!'”. “Because I’m the only one that has jewellery on, really. “For so long in my life, I felt like I was dimming my light because I felt uncomfortable.
