FORMULA ONE legend Rubens Barichello has been left distraught after his dog Speedy passed away. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel fell ill after consuming cigarette butts dropped by other dog owners. Barrichello, 51, noticed Speedy would hang around other dogs when he took him to designated dog loos during walks. The former Ferrari star believes that is where his dog consumed the cigarette butts, which ended up damaging Speedy’s stomach. Barrichello paid tribute to his pet following his death, saying: “My Speedy… You went too soon, my friend.
