Jaguar tops Manufacturers’ Trophy standings as Nissan joins the fight in São Paulo

With Jaguar TCS Racing maintaining their high-scoring start to Season 10 with another podium, the British powertrain holds firm at the top of the newly formed Manufacturers’ Trophy, while Nissan slots into third and closes the gap to Porsche in the standings after the fourth round in São Paulo. The Jaguar I-TYPE 6 has continued to the form that saw the powertrain finish 1-2 in the Teams’ standing by putting the powertrain from the legendary British marque right the top of the standings from the Manufacturers’ Trophy that was introduced ahead of the 2024 São Paulo E-Prix. A double podium for Nissan-powered machines with Bird on top and Rowland and pushing back both of the Porsches for third, brings them right into contention, closing down the German manufacturer to within just seven points for second in the standings. The scoring for this trophy mirrors that of the Teams’ Championship, with points awarded based on the performance of each manufacturer’s two highest-scoring cars in every race (1st place: 25 points; 2nd place: 18 points; 3rd place: 15 points etc.).
