Some of Formula 1’s brightest stars celebrated the end of the season with a meal in what is becoming quite the tradition. Around half of the grid tucked in to a meal at the same restaurant they visited after the end of last season, when Lewis Hamilton took them out to celebrate Sebastian Vettel’s retirement. The season ended with Max Verstappen winning at Abu Dhabi once again but there was no sign of him and Red Bull team-mate Sergio Perez, despite their attendance last year. Hamilton is understood to have picked up the bill last year, when all 20 drivers attended, but it is not clear who paid this time around. It has been the most repetitive season in recent memory, with Verstappen winning 19 of the 22 races on the calendar.
