Four-time INDYCAR SERIES champion and three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti will be inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame as its 2023 International Category recipient at a black-tie gala on Feb. 14 in Toronto. The ceremony is taking place in association with the 2024 Canadian International AutoShow. He won INDYCAR SERIES titles in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011, and his Indianapolis 500 victories came in 2007, 2010 and 2012. Six of his 31 career INDYCAR SERIES victories came in Canada, including three at the Honda Indy Toronto (1999, 2009, 2011). The other 15 inductees into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame Class of 2023, including Hinchcliffe, will be inducted during a ceremony Saturday, Feb. 17 at the John Bassett Theatre in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
