Formula E’s rules and regulations explained ahead of Season 10

With Formula E heading to Mexico City this weekend, 13 January, for the opening race of the 2023/24, Season 10 campaign, here’s everything you need to know about how the race is run, and won!. The Drivers’ World Championship is awarded to whichever driver has accumulated the most points over the season. If they carry out no further pit stop before the end of the race, five seconds will be added to the total elapsed race time of the driver concerned. Drive-through penalty – the Driver must enter the pit lane and re-join the race without stopping. 10-second stop-and-go time penalty – the Driver must enter the pit lane, stop at his pit for at least ten seconds and then rejoin the race.
