The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship has been nominated by a BBC panel for its Green Sport Awards, which celebrate the good news from athletes and organisations working hard to enact and inspire change. A list combining these names was provided to the BBC Green Sport Awards production team and was then discussed by a shortlisting panel. Formula E: Net Zero from Day ZeroA panel of independent experts in climate and environment issues from inside and outside the BBC then judged the winner of each category. “The motorsport championship for electric cars was nominated for its continued work in driving sustainable change both inside and outside motorsport,” said the panel.
