Verstappen, 24, won the world championship in controversial fashion last month after passing Mercedes rival Lewis Hamilton, 36, on the final lap of the season finale in Abu Dhabi. As a result, a large portion of fans believe that Hamilton was harshly robbed of a record-breaking eighth world championship, but Red Bull chief Horner has reminded critics that they have ‘short memories’.
