THE FIA are set to investigate the Brazil Grand Prix after fans invaded the track before the end of the race on Sunday. Footage appeared to show fans climbing over fences to get to the track with security removing a ladder before forcing people away. The fans did not manage to reach the track but the security breach is set to be investigated to avoid a repeat scenario in the future. The Sao Paulo F1 Organisation (SPF1) admits mistakes were made and they are set to assess their security protocols. SPF1 will conduct an investigation and present a remediation plan to the FIA by the end of January.
