Aprilia Racing Team Gresini’s Aleix Espargaro and Bradley Smith have been putting in the laps on Monday at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya as the team take part in a private test. Espargaro and Smith finished the Catalan GP in P12 and P16 respectively as the Noale factory go in search of further improvements to their new RS-GP, and a one-day test could make plenty of difference heading into the final six races of the season. Third podium in three years came the Frenchman’s way on Sunday as the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya continues to be a happy hunting ground. Back to winning ways for one, a third-straight rostrum for the other.
