Fresh off clinching his third consecutive Formula 1 championship in Saturday’s sprint, Max Verstappen won the Qatar Grand Prix on Sunday. The Red Bull Racing driver dominated the event and topped the McLaren duo of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris. Hamilton’s day was done, while Russell endured a lengthy pit stop to repair damage. The young British driver managed to claw back to fourth by race’s end at Lusail Int’l Circuit. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc rounded out the top-five finishers, with Fernando Alonso wheeling his Aston Martin to sixth. Esteban Ocon landed seventh while the Alfa Romeo duo of Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu finished eighth and ninth.
