M-Sport Ford team principal Rich Millener will take part in Britain’s first rally since the Coronavirus lockdown at this month’s M-Sport Return to Rally Stages. Millener will drive a 1600cc Ford Fiesta R2 on the August 22 event, which runs only for cars built by M-Sport in the last 20 years. Asked about his ambitions for the event, Millener said: “I want to get to the finish. Obviously I know Greystoke [M-Sport’s permanent test site] pretty well, but the last time I competed there I crashed. M-Sport is working on further potential entries from the FIA World Rally Championship, with announcements likely in the coming week. “We’re all really excited about this event and getting British rallying up and running again. I’m sure it’ll be a good day and we’ll have a lot of fun,” he said.
