Checo and Lance undertook a productive day of running ahead of Qualifying for Formula 1’s Belgian Grand Prix. Checo was the first to post a time, heading into P4 with a time of 1.46.498, while Lance put together a succession of quick laps. The next time around Lance moved from P6 and into P3 with a lap time of 1.45.710 – moments after Checo had improved to 1.45.958. Checo would post a new best lap of 1.44.629 to go into P3 as Lance followed into P4 by courtesy of his 1.44.868 time. This time our boys headed out on the Medium tyre and quickly set an early benchmark – Checo going into P2 with a 1.44.693, before Lance seta slightly quicker time of 1.44.678.
