Lewis Hamilton says he is dreading the day he retires from Formula One and will continue ‘until he starts seeing grey hairs’ after equalling Michael Schumacher’s number of race wins. Lewis Hamilton wants to keep going in F1 ‘until he turns grey’ after recording his 91st victory. The Briton’s win at the Eifel Grand Prix saw him equal Michael Schumacher’s all-time record. He says he never imagined he would draw level with Michael Schumacher’s race record. Hamilton will now be looking to go one further and move past Schumacher with the most race victories as well as edge closer to the Ferrari legend’s record of seven world championships. ‘I grew up watching Michael winning all those grands prix and I could not ever fathom equalling him,’ added Hamilton. ‘Michael is, and always will be, a legend of the sport and I feel very honoured to have one of his helmets.
