Lecuona to miss European Grand Prix

Red Bull KTM Tech3’s Iker Lecuona will be forced to miss this weekend’s Gran Premio de Europa. The Spaniard returned a negative PCR test on Tuesday but his brother and assistant have returned positive tests, preventing Lecuona from travelling to Valencia. The Spaniard, who lives together with his brother in Andorra, needs to undergo another PCR test today (Thursday) in order to confirm his negative result. Yet, due to the Andorran legislation, Lecuona is forced to quarantine for 10 days and will not be allowed to partake in the European GP. The Doctor has an anxious wait as he hopes to return a negative Covid-19 test on Wednesday in order to compete in the European Grand Prix.
