Nico Rosberg believes Toto Wolff’s rumoured departure from Mercedes could lead to a ‘really bad turn of events’ for the team. Wolff has previously dismissed talks that his potential exit would have an impact on Hamilton’s thinking process. Toto Wolff and Lewis Hamilton’s future at Mercedes are both currently up for discussion. Nico Rosberg says Wolff’s potential exit could have an impact on Hamilton’s thinking process. Wolff joined the Mercedes team in 2013, the same year as Hamilton, and his role at the outfit has played an integral part to their success. Hamilton has won five of his six driver’s titles at Mercedes with Wolff at the helm of the team. Hamilton was narrowly beaten by then team-mate Rosberg to the 2016 world championship. Hamilton has won five of his six titles at the team, while he was narrowly beaten by Rosberg to the crown in 2016.
