Formula One returns to Turkey in November for first time in nine years but China is left out of the 2020 season’s finalised calendar – with the finish line set for Abu Dhabi twelve days before Christmas

Formula One on Tuesday confirmed the schedule for the remainder of the season, with the sport returning to Turkey after nine years away. The Turkish Grand Prix will take place on the Asian side of greater Istanbul on November 15, and there will be two races in Bahrain on different configurations. The 2020 Formula One season will conclude on December 13 at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Races left — Sunday: Spa; Sept 6: Monza; Sept 13: Mugello; Sept 27: Sochi; Oct 11: Nurburgring; Oct 25: Portimao; Nov 1: Imola; Nov 15: Istanbul; Nov 29 & Dec 6: Bahrain; Dec 13: Abu Dhabi.
