Allgaier Lands Pole For Bristol Xfinity Race

BRISTOL, Tenn. – After sweeping last weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series doubleheader at Richmond (Va.) Raceway, Justin Allgaier will find himself back out front again this week. Allgaier will lead the field to green for Friday night’s Food City 300 at the .533-mile concrete bullring, based on NASCAR’s performance-based qualifying matrix. The 12-driver playoff field will be finalized following Friday night’s 300-lap event. Kaulig Racing’s Ross Chastain will join Allgaier on the front row, with Noah Gragson starting third to give Chevrolet a sweep of the front three positions. Friday’s Food City 300 is scheduled to go green at 7 p.m.
