A poor 15th-placed showing by Aussie driver Daniel Ricciardo at the Belgian GP has led to many F1 stars and pundits wondering whether he’s lost the will to compete on the grid as they call the McLaren reject a ‘broken man’. Ricciardo’s woes in Spa led to former F1 star and prominent commentator Martin Brundle declaring he wasn’t sure the Aussie could or would carry on next year. ‘I think he potentially does, but I saw a bit of a broken man, I didn’t see “I’m going to win a race this year, I am going to be on the grid next year. For Ricciardo’s part, he said he was just happy to be back racing after weeks of constant speculation and criticism. When asked on the broadcast whether he would remain in F1 next year, Ricciardo was non-committal.
